Remember this guy that we spotted at our local Goodwill for 1.99?
It might appear to be a TV dinner tray that blew out of the peace loving 60s but with some left over spray paint....
Step One:
The TV tray was made out of some sort of plasticy metal so it required a layer of KILZ white primer, that way it would also cover those crazy flowers.
(I dunno why I took that picture sideways.)
It already looks a ton better with a layer of white on it!!
Step 2:
Spray paint the color of choice on each piece. I decided to do the top part that fun Valspar lime green color like I used on the filing cabinet in the office.
I found this place mat by Better Homes and Gardens on Wal-Mart clearance for 1.00 awhile back. I cut it down so that it would have sides that fit within the tray.
Step 3:
Put it all together! It looks pretty cool and it's amazingly easy to use!
I think it looks pretty awesome! Another thing that is really handy about the TV tray idea is that it is very easy for me to store which is important in a house with out any closets.
I think it's going to be a big help when school starts so I can keep up with everything online that I need too. All that for 1.99! Yay!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend! :)
