Trailer Trash

As I've mentioned before my house is a manufactured home... some less chic individuals would call it a trailer. I prefer manufactured home, adorable home, or great first home. But call it what you will. Anyways! When my Dad first spotted this house it was clear it was in desperate need of attention. It needed a new EVERYTHING. I was flipping through the old files at my parent's house and came across these photos from March of 2008 before we even had purchased the house. I will warn you that it was a HUD home that had been foreclosed on so it's not  very pretty.

This is a skeletal version of the mulberry bushtree. Notice how dead the yard is? It's taken me a lot of grass seed and fertilizer to get the grass growing again!

I know that some people may snub the fact that I live in a manufactured home. But I think it's really great! First of all for someone who is my age to have their own home is unheard of and to be able to do all of the things that I have is made possible by the fact that it is manufactured. I have learned a lot and really enjoy doing what I do!
