First I started with sorting the colors into categories. Right now I have blues-greys and white-beige and then just a collection of accent colors that I like to use.
Second I take each of the groups and tie them together. Major ingredients to this step:
I punched a hole in the corner of each of my samples in the groups and I used some old twine that I had because it has a classic and vintage look that I love.
I ran the twine through the holes that I punched so that it would hold each of the color groups together.
I used thumbtacks to hold up the color sections on the little cork board that I had laying around in my office.
It's a little unfinished right now. I want to make some totally adorable tags for underneath of the different color segments and maybe paint the cork board. It looks good for now though! Plus it gives me somewhere to store all these little guys that I collect!
Does anyone else have a problem with collecting paint samples from Home Depot or Lowe's? What do you do with all of them?
